Description

Why We Add Terpenes to Our Sleep Blend

Simply put, terpenes are natural plant compounds that help plants smell the way they do and they have amazing nutritional qualities and health benefits. Plants also use them as their own medicine, to ward off bugs, and fuel photosynthesis. Among others, we added drops of the three following terpenes to our Sleep blend of hemp oil.

  1. Myrcene: already one of the most abundant terpenes in hemp, used by the plant to form other terpenes that have made it arguably the king of the plant kingdom. Known to aid with sleep.
  2. Limonene: shown promise in helping to combat stress and anxiety to help calm your mind and musculature before sleep.
  3. Caryophyllene: another common terpene found in not only hemp, but rosemary and even black pepper that also works synergistically to ease anxiety and soothe.

And Sunflower Lecithin

One of the most interesting things about Lecithin (other than the fact roughly 30% of your brain is made of this stuff) is that it’s not just a common food additive, but a vital component to every healthy cell in our bodies. Now, that said, here are three reasons we’ve added sunflower lecithin to our Sleep blend of full spectrum hemp oil:

  1. In our opinion it’s an ideal non-soy and non-animal source of lecithin and it’s extracted without the need for potentially harmful (to humans and the lecithin itself) chemicals/solvents like acetone or hexane.
  2. Sunflower lecithin is rich in choline and provides a host of beneficial phospholipids.
  3. It helps your body emulsify the many beneficial fats in the hemp oil so they can be better absorbed/dispersed into your body.

I know a lot of people rave about CBD to help them sleep. I can honestly say that it has not helped me sleep at all. I’ve tried a vape before and now this oil. Nothing. I wish it worked for me because it would be great to get a good night of sleep. I wish other people good luck and hope it works for them.

As for this particular product, it is an oil so it does have a funny taste but I hold it under my tongue for a while and follow up with a drink with flavor.

    • It all depends on your Tolerance level and other meds intake. However, you can follow 5 steps by clinical trial as well.

      1. FAKE A SUNSET and Outdoor
      Use Chamomile or Valerian Candel

      2. DO THE FOUR-SEVEN-EIGHT
      This breathing exercise will help ;

Breathe in through your nose for four seconds.
Hold your breath for seven seconds.
Slowly breathe out through your mouth for eight seconds.
Repeat this process until you fall asleep.
This technique acts like a natural tranquilizer by slowing down your heart rate. According to Dr. Andrew Weil, director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, “Unlike sleep medications, which often lose effectiveness over time, four-seven-eight breathing is subtle at first but gains power with practice.” In other words, the more you do it, the better it works.

      3) HYPNOTIZE YOUR WAY TO A DEEP SLEEP
Watch a five-minute hypnosis video while tucked in your bed. (YouTube is full of them; search “hypnosis for sleep.”) It might sound like a bit of hogwash, but researchers from the universities of Zurich and Fribourg beg to differ. Their 2014 study on the subject concluded that hypnosis can actually increase the quality of sleep. Huzzah.
If none worked. Please call me and I formulate Something different for you.
